Pesto (variation 1)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups packed fresh basil leaves
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • ½ cup pine nuts or walnuts or almonds
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • salt to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients in the blender or food processor and blend until you have a smooth paste. Toss with hot drained pasta!!

Simple and yummy!!!
